1. Overview
Logic Game Technologies Ltd ("we") develops and operates Gems and is the data controller for personal information handled through the game and this website. Gems accounts are pseudonymous: when you first play on Android, an account is created automatically from your Google Play Games sign-in. We do not ask for your name, email address, or password to play.
This website uses no advertising or analytics cookies and no account sign-in.
2. Information we handle
- Platform identifier: the opaque Google Play Games player ID linked to your Gems account. We do not receive your Google name or email.
- Game profile & activity: an in-game display name, ranking/rating, matchmaking data, match results, and progression.
- Technical data: IP address, device and operating-system details, app version, crash reports, and security logs.
- Advertising data: to keep Gems free we show ads through Google AdMob. For all players we use child-directed, non-personalized ads — ads are not based on a profile of you, and we do not use an advertising identifier to target ads. The ad SDK processes limited, non-identifying signals to deliver ads, cap frequency, and prevent fraud.
- Purchases (if offered): entitlement and transaction references from the platform store. We do not receive full payment-card details.
- Support information: anything you include when you contact us for help.
3. How we use it
- create, authenticate, and secure your account;
- provide multiplayer matches, rankings, and progression;
- operate, debug, and improve the game;
- show child-directed, non-personalized advertising to support the free game;
- detect cheating, abuse, fraud, and threats to the service;
- answer support requests; and
- meet legal and platform obligations.
5. Retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as needed to run your account and the service. When you delete your account (see below) we remove information that identifies you. We retain match records in anonymized form — with no identifier linking them to you — so that other players' game history and competitive rankings remain accurate. We protect data with access controls, encryption in transit (HTTPS), restricted administrative access, and monitoring.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to complain to a data-protection authority. You can export your data in-game via Settings → Account. To exercise other rights, contact us below.
7. Account deletion
You can delete your Gems account and personal data at any time, two ways:
- In the game: Settings → Account → Delete account. Deletion is immediate.
- On the web, without the app: open our deletion page and enter the one-time code shown in the game (Settings → Account → "Get a web deletion code").
Deletion removes your platform link, display name, and other information identifying you. As described in Retention, anonymized match records with no identifier are kept for ranking integrity. We may retain limited records where genuinely required for fraud prevention, security, or law; deactivation is never presented as deletion.
8. Audience and children
Gems is intended for a general audience that may include children (a "mixed audience" on Google Play). Rather than relying on age self-declaration, we take a child-safe approach for everyone: advertising is configured as child-directed and non-personalized for all players — age-appropriate ad content, no interest-based profiling, and no advertising identifier used to target ads — consistent with COPPA and GDPR-K (children's data) expectations. Ads are served only through Google's certified ads SDK. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond the pseudonymous account and gameplay data described above, and we do not sell personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information you think we should not hold, contact us and we will address it.
9. Changes to this policy
We will update the date above when this policy changes and highlight material changes through the game or another suitable channel.
